(Deep Detoxification Cleansing)
Panchakarma is a Sanskrit word meaning 5 actions. Panchakarma is an ancient, effective detoxification process which helps to loosen and remove deep seated toxins, wastes, free radicals and humors from the body, mind and senses. These 5 actions or therapies actually cleanse the body from the inside out allowing for regeneration and rejuvenation of the bodily tissues. The body is then able to move into balance due to the removal of the built up stress. The benefits include: more mental clarity, strength, vitality, flexibility, helps reduce dependency on alcohol, drugs, tobacco, increases emotional clarity, a stronger sense of well- being, increased immune function, slows the aging process, improves skin luster, and often aids in weight loss just to name a few.
Panchakarma is administered to maintain the health of the healthy and improve or restore the health of those facing more serious or chronic disorders. When incorrect food is taken and a stressful life is lived, wrongly processed and metabolized bodily wastes build up in weakened tissues of the body with the help of genetics or environmental factors. By eliminating those built up toxins, wastes and humors the body’s’ normal psycho-biological functions can be restored and or improved. In these ways Panchakarma is also considered as a rejuvenation program.
Because every person is unique, a specific panchakarma program will be tailored to suit your particular needs, but below are the basic guidelines. Along with the actual panchakarma therapies you also have the option to include 1 or more additional treatments to assist you in achieving optimum health benefits (for an additional fee).

Additional panchakarma recommendations to maximize your results
- I recommend that you do not work or go to school during the panchakarma program. The daily stress and commitment to others is contraindicated during this time as you need to focus on your own well-being and returning to the rhythms of nature. This is especially true if you are experiencing symptoms of imbalance due to a chronic condition.
- Stay in a hotel, bed and breakfast or somewhere where you can have some peace and quiet. Part of the program is allowing yourself to be removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life so that the treatments have a deeper impact. If this is not possible, put a do not disturb sign on your bedroom door as a friendly reminder to family, friends or housemates.
- Think twice about taking a vacation while doing your panchakarma program. It’s deep detoxification and requires rest, relaxation, eating the specially prepared foods and quiet. This isn’t a time for late nights out and socializing.
